Back in February  2011 I was introduced to the label Striate Cortex by Neil Campbell of Astral Social Club. He gave me a copy of a double CD-r compilation he was on called “The Trees Are All Blocking The Forest“. My head was turned both by the high quality of the music it contained and by the hand-made packaging that contained it.
